My Obligatory Seattle Rain Poem

Scared   of   rain

slight   pitter

patter can't get

you   wet

yet

scared of sacred

rain, the look

inside, the contents,

continents yet to span.

The look inside

yet scared of

this good rain, so slight

you can't get

wet.  They stand.

They all stand

outside in rain

in Seattle, rain

so slight a

pitter patter

you can't get

wet, no down

pours, no thunder

storms

              so

bring on the

noon light, let

the shadow go

un-noticed.
