Golden September Sunset
We miss the turn,
end up in an indigo dreamscape,
are
fascinated by the warm belly of storm clouds before
watching
the fire dance w/
the
northern lights. A golden September
sunset
enhanced by cirrus clouds painted above chasing
after
the silent escape of summer in this
the
blur of our lives. Wet from warm
summer
rain we
lose ourselves in each other as consciousness
expands,
the yellow mountain flower is pressed between pages,
time
loses its velocity and we await the night’s first quivering star.
